Timco Fanlight Catch Satin Chrome, Brass, 220 g
Timco Fanlight Catch in satin chrome brass with a sprung mechanism for secure, easy opening of high‑reach windows, loft hatches and skylights.
Overview
The Timco Fanlight Catch is a robust hardware fitting designed primarily for securing bottom‑hung casement windows. Constructed from solid brass and finished in satin chrome, it offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance for long‑lasting performance. The clever design incorporates a catch loop, allowing windows that are difficult to reach – such as those high in ceilings or set in fanlights – to be opened and securely closed with a simple pole hook, eliminating the need for ladders or complex mechanisms.
Key Features
- Solid brass construction with a satin chrome finish for a polished look and high corrosion resistance.
- Sprung catch mechanism provides smooth, positive action for easy locking and a secure hold every time.
- Integrated catch loop enables operation from a pole, ideal for hard‑to‑reach positions.
- All necessary fixings are supplied for straightforward installation.
- Compact design integrates unobtrusively into window frames or access panels.
Applications
While the primary use is for bottom‑hung casement windows, this versatile catch is also well suited to loft hatches, skylights and other interior access panels where secure yet easily operable fastening is required.
