Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch Normally Open 50°C 10A 250V

Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch is a snap-action thermostat with a 10A at 250V contact rating and a 50°C switching temperature, designed to regulate system temperatures by switching heating or cooling systems when the set point is reached.

Overview

This thermal switch uses a normally open (N/O) contact that closes on rise, so it activates when the temperature reaches the 50°C set point. The switch features an automatic reset function, which allows operation without manual intervention. Its set temperature is 50°C (±3°C) and its reset temperature is 35°C (±5°C). It supports a maximum off temperature of 85°C and a maximum on temperature of 100°C.

Construction and Installation

The housing and shield are both made from phenolic material, and the shield is rated for continuous use. The flange mount design allows the switch to be secured onto surfaces. Quick connect terminals, available in 0° and 90° angle options, are made from nickel-plated brass and are designed for straightforward wiring.
