Texas Instruments TPS22860 Power Load Switch, High Side, Active High, 5.5V, 200
Ultra-low leakage high-side load switch for 5.5V, 200mA applications. Active-high enable, SOT-23-6 package.
The Texas Instruments TPS22860 is a compact, ultra-low leakage single-channel load switch designed for precision power management in space-constrained applications. Requiring a bias voltage (V_BIAS) of 1.65V to 5.5V, it accepts an input voltage range from 0V to V_BIAS, making it versatile for various low-voltage circuits.
This high-side load switch supports a maximum continuous switch current of 200mA and features a low on-state resistance of 0.92 ohms, ensuring efficient power delivery with minimal voltage drop. The device is controlled by an active-high on/off input (ON), which interfaces directly with low-voltage control signals, simplifying integration with microcontrollers and logic circuits.
Housed in a compact SOT-23-6 package, the TPS22860 includes thermal protection to safeguard against over-temperature conditions. It operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. With one output and a high-side configuration, this load switch is ideal for power gating, battery-powered applications, and portable electronics.
