Tenma Sound Level Meter Calibrator 94dB-114dB
Calibrate sound meters accurately with the Tenma calibrator. Features 94-114dB range, 1000Hz tone, and works with 0.5/1 inch mics.
The Tenma 72-2680 Sound Level Meter Calibrator is a precise and reliable tool designed for the accurate calibration of sound level meters, an essential process for ensuring consistent and trustworthy acoustic measurements across various environments and applications.
This calibrator generates a stable acoustic signal at a frequency of 1000Hz with a tolerance of ±5%, producing sound pressure levels ranging from 94dB to 114dB. It is compatible with both 0.5 inch and 1 inch microphones, offering versatility for a wide range of professional sound measurement equipment. A built-in battery test indicator provides convenient power status monitoring, helping to prevent calibration errors due to low battery power.
Constructed for robustness and ease of use, the unit operates effectively within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. Its compact dimensions of 50mm in diameter by 82mm in height make it highly portable and suitable for use in both laboratory and field settings. The calibrator is powered by two standard DC 9V alkaline batteries (types 006P, MN1604, or PP3), which are included.
The comprehensive kit enhances its practicality, containing the main calibrator unit, a 0.5-inch microphone adapter, an adjustable screwdriver for maintenance, a detailed instruction manual, and a protective carrying case for secure transport and storage.
For users requiring certified traceability, professional calibration services are available specifically for this product within Europe, ensuring measurements meet stringent industry and regulatory standards.
