StarTech.com Large Laptop Cable Lock Anchor
Create a secure anchor point for your laptop lock with this durable zinc alloy anchor. Includes screws and adhesive pad for flexible mounting.
The StarTech.com Large Laptop Cable Lock Anchor provides a versatile and robust security solution, allowing you to create a reliable anchor point for valuable equipment in virtually any location. Its primary function is to help guard your laptop, docking station, or other electronic devices against theft by offering a solid connection for a standard cable lock (cable lock not included).
The anchor features a large, ringed design that provides ample room to thread through a thicker cable lock or even more than one cable simultaneously via its generous 35x19mm opening. This design offers greater flexibility for securing multiple items or using high-security, heavy-duty locking cables.
Installation is simple and adaptable. The anchor can be easily attached to any solid surface using either the two included screws for a permanent, ultra-secure fix, or the included adhesive pad for a non-damaging, tool-free application where drilling is not desired. Both mounting options are supplied, giving you complete control over the installation method.
Constructed from durable zinc alloy, the anchor is built to last and can withstand significant force from a cable lock in all directions, providing peace of mind that your equipment is well-protected. Furthermore, the robust construction of the security plate is specifically designed to help prevent access to the mounting screws, adding an extra layer of tamper resistance.
With its substantial build and thoughtful design, this anchor is an essential accessory for anyone needing to secure portable electronics in offices, libraries, classrooms, retail environments, or public spaces. It transforms any desk, table, or counter into a secure workstation.
