StarTech Flip-Up Privacy Filter for 15.6in Widescreen Laptop, Raised Bezel

StarTech Flip-Up Privacy Filter for 15.6in Widescreen Laptops offers a 60° viewing angle, blacking out the screen for onlookers outside its viewing zone.

Overview

The StarTech Flip-Up Privacy Filter is designed for 15.6in widescreen (16:10) laptop displays. It uses microlouver technology to limit the viewing angle to 60° (±30° from centre), so the screen appears blacked out when viewed from outside this range. This helps keep sensitive data, emails, and documents private in open-plan offices, on public transport, or in shared workspaces.

The filter features a flip-up design. When content needs to be shared with a colleague or client, the filter can be flipped up to give an unobstructed view of the screen without removing or reinstalling it. The ultrathin material preserves touchscreen responsiveness, so touch input remains accurate on compatible displays.
