Startech Active USB 2.0 A to B Lead, 9m, Black
Extend USB connections up to 9m with active equaliser chip. High-speed 480 Mb/s transfer, shielded, durable PVC. Ideal for printers & scanners.
The Startech USB2HAB30AC is a high-quality peripheral lead designed to connect USB-A devices to USB-B peripherals, such as printers and scanners, at distances up to 9 metres.*
Unlike standard USB cables, this lead features a built-in equaliser chip that actively boosts the signal, allowing reliable operation beyond the usual 5-metre limit for USB 2.0. It supports data transfer rates of up to 480 Mb/s, ensuring efficient communication between your devices.
Constructed with an aluminium-Mylar foil with braid shielding, this cable minimises electromagnetic interference, providing stable and error-free data transmission. The durable PVC cable jacket protects the internal wiring, making it suitable for demanding environments.
Key Benefits:
- Active equaliser chip for extended cable length
- High-speed USB 2.0 data transfer (480 Mb/s)
- Aluminium-Mylar foil with braid shielding for reliable performance
- Durable PVC jacket for longevity
- Plug-and-play, no external power required (draws max 70mA)
Important Note: The cable draws a maximum of 70 mA to power its internal active circuitry, so no separate power supply is needed. Each cable is supplied with a 2-year manufacturer warranty for peace of mind.
