Expand your desktop with a StarTech.com 7-port USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub. Features 10Gb/s speed, 65W power adaptor, and dedicated charging ports.
The StarTech.com 7 Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 Desktop Hub is a powerful and versatile connectivity solution, designed to expand the capabilities of any modern PC or laptop. It provides seven high-speed USB ports, enabling you to connect a wide array of peripherals such as external hard drives, keyboards, mice, printers, and smartphones, all from a single, compact hub on your desk.
Featuring the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, this hub offers blazing-fast data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. This ensures rapid file backups and seamless operation of high-bandwidth devices, while maintaining full backward compatibility with all previous USB standards, so your older accessories will work perfectly.
Power is never an issue, thanks to the included 65W power adaptor. This robust power supply ensures stable operation for all connected devices, with each of the seven ports delivering 4.5W. For faster charging, it features two dedicated high-power 12W charging/data ports (one USB-C and one USB-A). These smart charging ports can power your devices even when the hub is not connected to a host computer, supporting both CDP (Charging Downstream Port) and DCP (Dedicated Charging Port) protocols for maximum compatibility with phones and tablets.
Built with reliability in mind, the hub includes overcurrent protection (OCP) to safeguard your valuable electronics by preventing any single device from drawing excessive power. Setup is effortless and universal; it is OS independent and requires no additional software or drivers. A 1-metre USB-IF certified USB-C host cable is included for a guaranteed reliable connection to your computer.
With its compact desktop form factor, this hub is an essential tool for decluttering your workspace, organising cables, and creating a professional, high-performance workstation.
