StarTech 14in MacBook Pro Privacy Screen Magnetic Reversible Filter

The StarTech 14in MacBook Pro Privacy Screen is a magnetic reversible privacy filter designed for 14-inch MacBook Pro models from 2021 and 2023. It darkens the display when viewed from side angles, helping to keep confidential on-screen data private in busy environments.

Overview

The privacy filter provides a clear viewing angle of 60° (±30° from centre) directly to the user, while obscuring the screen for anyone looking from the side. Its reversible design offers two finishes: a matte anti-glare side suited to environments prone to reflections and bright lighting, and a high-gloss side that helps retain the colour vibrancy and brightness of the MacBook display. With a 16:10 aspect ratio and a light transmittance of 60%, the filter is designed to maintain optimal screen brightness for the user while providing a high level of visual privacy.
