The STARTECH 1-Port Gigabit PoE+ Extender is a powerful solution for extending Power over Ethernet (PoE) connections beyond standard limitations. Designed to deliver up to 24 watts of power output, this extender efficiently supports PoE+ enabled devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points in remote locations where standard power outlets are unavailable.

With daisy-chain capability, you can connect up to four extenders, achieving a maximum range of 500 metres. Note that the output power varies based on the number of extenders in the chain: 20W (2 extenders), 16W (3 extenders), or 12W (4 extenders).

This extender features automatic PoE device detection, ensuring seamless plug-and-play operation without the need for additional power supplies. Built-in LED status indicators provide clear monitoring of power and usage.

Housed in a compact, wall-mountable metal casing, the extender is both durable and space-efficient. It also includes 2kV ESD and surge protection, safeguarding your network equipment from power-related damage.
