ROADRUNNER Wiring Pencil Wire, Green, 0.19mm, 4 Pack

The ROADRUNNER Wiring Pencil Wire is a high-quality, solderable enamelled copper wire, perfect for precision electrical work. Each wire is coated in a self-fluxing polyurethane enamel, which eliminates the need for separate flux application and simplifies the soldering process. This coating conforms to the BS4520 Grade 2 standard, which is incorporated within BS6811 Section 1, Part 3, ensuring reliable performance and consistent quality.

This versatile wire is supplied in a convenient 4-pack, making it an ideal choice for a variety of electronic applications. It is perfectly suited for intricate tasks such as prototype wiring, repairing PCB tracks, creating shorting links, and forming small coils. The robust polyurethane jacket provides excellent insulation and protection for the fine copper conductor.

Key Features & Specifications

To use, the enamel insulation must be removed with a soldering iron at a temperature of 400°C or higher. The recommended soldering temperature range is between 400°C and 480°C. Once the enamel is burnt off, the underlying copper tins easily, creating strong, reliable solder joints. The wire has a voltage rating of 1.5kV, making it suitable for low-voltage electronic circuits.

With its fine 0.19mm diameter (36 SWG) solid copper conductor and distinctive green colour, this wire is easy to identify and handle for detailed work. This ROADRUNNER product is an essential component for any electronics hobbyist, technician, or engineer's toolkit, offering convenience and professional-grade results for all your wiring needs.
