U-MIC Wireless USB Microphone Set, UHF 863.2MHz

The U-MIC Wireless USB Microphone Set from QTX offers a supremely convenient and cost-effective audio solution for presentations, conferences, and vocal performances. Its compact and easy-to-set-up design avoids the need for bulky rack-mounted equipment, making it ideal for mobile setups and temporary installations.

The system comprises a handheld UHF transmitter and a remarkably small USB-powered receiver. Setup is incredibly simple: just plug the receiver into any standard USB power supply or a spare USB port on a computer or media device. It draws minimal power (5V, 1A) and outputs a clean audio signal via a standard 3.5mm mono jack socket, with a 3.5mm to 6.3mm jack lead included for broader compatibility.

A key feature is the plug-through USB connection on the receiver. This allows you to connect a USB flash drive, MP3 player, or other media device simultaneously, so the host USB port remains fully functional for playback or data transfer while the microphone is in use. This integrated design eliminates the need for additional hubs or adapters.

The professional-grade handheld transmitter is powered by 2 x AA batteries and operates on a UK/EU licence-free UHF frequency (863.2MHz), ensuring clear, stable transmission without interference in the 50Hz to 15kHz frequency range. Its dynamic cardioid capsule provides focused pickup from the front while reducing unwanted background noise, and the system boasts a reliable wireless range of up to 50 metres.
