QTX 8 Way DMX Splitter/Booster, 230VAC
Professional 8-way DMX splitter/booster with opto-isolated outputs, loop out, and termination switch. Ideal for large lighting setups.
The QTX 8 Way DMX Splitter is a professional DMX booster and distributor designed to split a single DMX signal across a large area, eliminating the need for long signal chains. This robust unit isolates individual sub-chains, allowing you to quickly identify and resolve faults without bringing down the entire lighting system.
Key Features
- Opto-Isolated Outputs: The 8 DMX outputs are opto-isolated in pairs (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8), providing excellent protection against ground loops and electrical interference, ensuring reliable data transmission.
- **DMX Loop Out / Terminated Switch: Includes both a DMX loop-out for daisy-chaining additional splitters and a termination switch to prevent signal reflections at the end of the line.
- Mains Powered: Operates on a 230VAC 50Hz mains supply to boost the DMX signal over long cable runs, ensuring strong data integrity across extended distances.
- LED Indicators: Clear LED data indicators on each output allow for instant visual confirmation of signal presence, simplifying setup and troubleshooting.
Connectivity and Power
The unit features 1 DMX input and 8 DMX outputs on professional 3-pin XLR connectors. It is powered via a UK mains plug (type G), making it suitable for use in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Malta, and many other regions.
