PRO'S KIT PLCC Extractor Tool, 35g
Efficiently remove PLCC ICs with PRO'S KIT extractor. Safe, damage-free, ideal for repair, prototyping & maintenance.
The PRO'S KIT PLCC Extractor is a specialised tool designed to simplify the removal of PLCC (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) integrated circuits from their sockets. Its unique extraction mechanism ensures that ICs are lifted safely and evenly, preventing the common damage to packaging and sockets often caused by using screwdrivers or other improvised levers.
The tool legs fit securely into the dedicated holes on opposite corners of a PLCC socket, providing a stable grip. Squeezing the handle lifts the integrated circuit without bending pins or damaging the housing, ensuring component integrity. This extractor prevents accidental damage to IC packaging and sockets, simplifying the extraction process and improving workflow.
