PRO POWER FTP 4-Pair Network Cable, CCA, Grey, 305m Reel

The PRO POWER FTP 4-Pair Network Cable is a 305 m reel of shielded twisted pair cable with Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors, designed for structured cabling installations. Supplied on a large 305-metre reel (equivalent to 1000 feet), it suits installers and contractors who require substantial lengths for new builds, office refits, or extending network infrastructure.

Overview

The cable features shielded twisted pairs, which provide protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk. This shielding supports signal integrity in dense networking environments. The conductors are Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA), and the grey jacket gives the cable a neutral, professional appearance for installation in a variety of settings. The cable is classified under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) as Cat Eca, which relates to its reaction to fire.

Important Usage Note

Due to its CCA conductor construction, this cable is not recommended for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. PoE carries both data and electrical power over the same cable, and the higher electrical resistance of aluminium compared with solid copper can lead to excessive voltage drop and potential overheating under load. The cable is intended for standard data networking where PoE is not required.

Key Features and Specifications
