PRO POWER DMX Lighting Cable, 2 Core, 24AWG, Blue, 100m
Professional 100m DMX lighting cable with OFC cores & copper shielding. Ideal for stage, studio & architectural lighting control.
The PRO POWER DMX Lighting Cable is a professional-grade, two-core cable engineered specifically for reliable DMX512 signal transmission in stage, studio, and architectural lighting setups. Its construction prioritises signal integrity and durability, making it an essential component for any lighting rig.
Featuring tinned oxygen-free copper (OFC) wire, this cable ensures excellent conductivity and resistance to oxidation, providing great signal transmission over long distances without significant loss or interference. The tight and fine stranding of the conductors gives the cable a rubber-like flexibility, allowing for easy handling, routing, and coiling during complex installations or live events.
A key technical advantage is its low capacitance, achieved through a specialised foam PE insulation production technique. This design minimises signal degradation and is crucial for maintaining the precise digital control required by DMX protocols. For robust protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), the cable incorporates high-density copper spiral shielding paired with an extra-metallic fleece, creating a strong barrier that preserves signal clarity in electrically noisy environments.
The cable is finished with a tough blue PVC jacket, providing abrasion resistance and easy colour identification in multi-cable runs. With a substantial 100-metre length on the reel, it is perfectly suited for extensive installations where long, uninterrupted cable runs are necessary.
