PRO POWER 8-Core Screened Cable, 0.2mm², 100m, Black
Buy PRO POWER 8-core screened cable (0.2mm², 100m). Tinned copper conductors & braid screen for aircraft, control systems & computers.
The PRO POWER 7-2-8C 8-Core Screened Cable is a high-performance, multi-core wire designed for demanding electrical and data applications where reliability and signal integrity are paramount. Its construction features tinned, annealed copper conductors, which enhance conductivity and provide superior resistance to corrosion, ensuring stable performance over time. Each conductor consists of 7 strands of 0.2mm wire (24AWG), offering a good balance of flexibility and current-carrying capacity.
A key feature of this cable is its comprehensive shielding. A tinned copper wire braid screen effectively minimises electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), protecting signal clarity in sensitive electronic environments. The outer jacket is made from durable, flexible PVC and is finished in a standard black colour for easy identification and a professional appearance.
Engineered for versatility, this cable is rated for a wide operational temperature range from -30°C to +70°C when fixed, and -15°C to +70°C when flexed. It has a voltage rating of 440V and a current rating of 1A per conductor. For installation, it requires a minimum bending radius of 7.5 times its overall diameter to prevent damage to the internal conductors and screen.
Supplied in a convenient 100-metre reel, this cable is an essential component for installers and engineers, providing a reliable and compliant solution for a multitude of professional wiring tasks.
