PRO POWER 5.2mm UTP CCA Network Cable 100m Reel

PRO POWER 5.2mm UTP CCA Network Cable is a 100 metre reel of unshielded twisted pair network cable with copper clad aluminium conductors, intended for standard data networking tasks over short to medium distances.

Overview

This UTP cable uses Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors and features a solid 25 AWG core arranged as four pairs, giving eight conductors in total. Its grey PVC and polyester jacket provides basic durability and flexibility for routing through office conduits, under carpets, or within ceiling voids. The solid core construction suits permanent, in-wall installations where the cable will not be subject to frequent movement or bending. The 100 metre reel length makes it suitable for installing multiple runs or for use as a bulk supply on larger projects.

Important Usage Note

This cable is not recommended for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The use of aluminium conductors can lead to increased resistance and potential overheating under the electrical load required by PoE devices, posing a safety risk. For installations involving PoE, such as security cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points, a cable with pure copper conductors is essential.
