Replace 120W halogen with this Philips 14W R7S LED linear bulb (3000K, 2000lm). Dimmable & energy efficient. Direct mains replacement.
The Philips CorePro LEDlinear 14W R7S is a direct‑mains linear LED lamp engineered to replace traditional and inefficient halogen double‑ended R7S lamps. It offers an exceptionally energy‑efficient solution, consuming just 14W of power while providing an impressive luminous output of 2000lm – equivalent to a conventional 120W halogen lamp. This results in substantial energy savings and a significantly reduced environmental footprint. The lamp emits a comfortable Neutral White light with a colour temperature of 3000K, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere suitable for a variety of settings. Its colour rendering index (CRI) of 80 ensures good colour fidelity, making details appear more natural and vibrant.
A key feature of this LEDlinear bulb is its dimmability, offering user‑controlled ambient lighting. However, to ensure optimal performance and prevent flickering, it is essential to pair it with a compatible dimmer designed specifically for LED technology. The product belongs to the reliable Philips CorePro LEDlinear MV Series, built with the quality and longevity synonymous with the Philips brand. The robust construction and advanced LED technology promise a long operational life, minimising the need for frequent replacements and reducing long‑term maintenance costs.
With standard UK mains voltage compatibility (240VAC) and a familiar R7S base, installation is a straightforward, direct replacement for existing halogen fittings. This LED lamp is an ideal upgrade for residential, commercial, and retail environments seeking to improve lighting quality while enhancing energy efficiency. Please note that for correct operation, verification of dimmer compatibility is recommended prior to installation.
