Penn Elcom Mesh Rack Cabinet Door 20U

The Penn Elcom Mesh Rack Cabinet Door 20U is a fully assembled, lockable vented door designed specifically for Contractor Series 6U enclosures and WMR racks. Its primary function is to provide secure ventilation and easy access to rack-mounted equipment, making it an essential component for organised IT, AV, and networking installations.

Constructed from robust steel with a black finish, this door is built for durability in professional environments. The inclusion of a barrel lock and two keys ensures that sensitive equipment can be secured against unauthorised access. A key advantage is its design for retrofitting; the door can be easily added to an existing enclosure after the initial installation, offering great flexibility for system upgrades or enhanced security needs.

The mesh vented design is crucial for maintaining optimal airflow within the cabinet, helping to prevent equipment from overheating during continuous operation. This feature is vital for servers, switches, and other heat-generating electronics housed in confined spaces. The sturdy construction and secure locking mechanism provide peace of mind, protecting valuable hardware from tampering or accidental interference.

Ideal for integrators and technicians, this accessory streamlines the process of securing rack systems. Its compatibility with specified Penn Elcom rack series ensures a correct fit and professional appearance, contributing to a neat and managed equipment setup.
