The Netgear WAX620 AX3600 WiFi 6 Access Point is a business wireless access point offering per-band speeds of up to 2400 Mbps on the 5GHz band. It is designed for high-density environments and small and medium-sized businesses, and integrates with the Insight management platform for setup, monitoring, and control without requiring additional hardware.

Performance

Compared with previous WiFi 5 technology, the WAX620 supports four times the number of client devices and delivers 100% more throughput on the 2.4GHz band, supporting reliable connectivity in crowded spaces. It uses a combined dual-band 4x4 platform, with per-band wireless speeds of up to 1200 Mbps (2.4GHz) and 2400 Mbps (5GHz).

The WiFi 6 design uses 8 streams of data transmission combined with OFDMA technology. This delivers a 40% throughput increase on the 5GHz band and 100% on the 2.4GHz band, optimising efficiency for multiple simultaneous users.
