Multicomp Pro thermal switch with 110°C fixed switching temperature, normally closed contacts, 250V AC rated current and L310 wire leads.
The Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch is a temperature-activated protective device with a fixed switching temperature of 110°C ±5% and normally closed (NC) contacts.
Overview
The switch uses a thermo-bimetallic snap-disc mechanism as its switching element, with a fixed and calibrated activation point. When the external temperature reaches the designated threshold, the internal double contact system responds by opening or closing the connected circuit, providing protection or control.
Heat transfer to the switch occurs through convection or direct conduction from all sides onto its housing, supporting accurate and responsive temperature sensing. Its wide performance range and diverse execution options allow it to be used as a protective switch, sensor or controller in a range of applications. The switch measures 2.2 (width) x 0.2 (depth) x 3.3 (height) and weighs 3.7 gm.
Key Features
Applications
Key applications include the protection and monitoring of motors, transformers, coils, electronic assemblies, various sensors and automated process control systems. For low-voltage and signal-current environments, such as sensitive temperature-sensing circuits, gold-plated contact models are available.
The switch is suitable for thermal management tasks where temperature-based protection or control of a circuit is required, using the 110°C fixed activation point specified above.
