Multicomp Pro PNP Silicon Power Transistor TO-220
Multicomp Pro PNP silicon power transistor in a TO-220 package. Ideal for general purpose amplifiers, switching, and industrial use.
The Multicomp Pro PNP complementary silicon plastic power transistor is designed for general-purpose power amplifier and switching applications. Built in a robust TO-220 package, this through-hole mounted component offers reliable performance and ease of integration into a wide variety of circuit designs.
Featuring a minimum collector-emitter sustaining voltage (VCEO) of 100V and a continuous collector current of 6A, this transistor is well-suited for demanding tasks. It provides a power dissipation of 65W and a minimum DC current gain (hFE) of 15, ensuring efficient operation within your circuits. The maximum collector-emitter saturation voltage is just 1.5V at 6A, contributing to lower power loss during switching.
With a transition frequency of 3MHz and a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, this transistor is a versatile choice for both industrial and power management environments. The thermal resistance from junction to case is rated at 1.92°C/W, facilitating effective thermal management. Its compact dimensions of 43mm x 33mm x 15mm and lightweight design of just 2 grams make it ideal for space-constrained applications.
