Multicomp Pro normally closed thermal switch, 200°C set point, 160°C reset, 250V AC 10A rating. Flange mount, quick-connect terminals.
Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch with a normally closed (NC) configuration and a 200°C set temperature provides automatic temperature control for connected heating or cooling systems.
Overview
The Multicomp Pro Thermal Switch senses temperature changes and automatically activates or deactivates connected systems at a set point of 200°C, with a reset at 160°C. The automatic reset allows continuous, hands-free regulation of temperature within a system, helping to maintain consistent environmental conditions.
Construction
The switch uses AgNi/Cu (T2) stationary and movable contacts, a brass stationary arm and an alloy copper movable arm joined with copper rivets. An internal bimetal disc mechanism delivers a snap-action response to temperature fluctuations. The housing is made from PF case and top cover with an aluminium cap, and the brass terminals are finished with nickel plating for conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Installation and Electrical Rating
A flange mount provides stable attachment to surfaces, and quick-connect sensor terminals simplify wiring. The switch is rated for 250V AC at 10A (16A max), with high dielectric strength and insulation resistance. The product weighs 7 g and measures 2.2 (width) x 0.2 (depth) x 3.3 (height), making it suitable for space-constrained installations.
Compliance
The switch meets GB14536.1-2008, GB14536.10-2008, GB/T22687-2008, EN60730-1, and EN60730-2-9 standards.
