Multicomp Pro Enamelled Copper Wire 0.224mm x 1430m
Self-fluxing enamelled copper wire (0.224mm x 1430m). Polyurethane coated, BS4520 compliant. Ideal for prototype coils.
The Multicomp Pro Enamelled Copper Wire is a high-quality, polyurethane-coated, self-fluxing wire designed specifically for making coils in prototypes. With a wire diameter of 0.224mm and an extensive length of 1430m, this copper wire provides ample material for extensive project development and testing phases.
Featuring a transparent PU jacket, this enamelled copper wire conforms to BS4520 Grade 2 (BS6811 Section 1, Pt.3) standards, ensuring reliable and consistent performance. It is engineered to withstand a maximum continuous temperature of +120°C, making it suitable for applications that generate moderate heat during operation.
For assembly, a soldering temperature between 400°C and 480°C is required to achieve optimal connections. It is essential to note that fume extraction should be employed when soldering to ensure that safety levels are not exceeded and to maintain a safe working environment.
