Molex KK 254 Wire-to-Board Header, Right Angle, 6 Way
Molex KK 254 6-way right-angle pin header for wire-to-board connections. 2.54mm pitch, 5A/250V rating, tin-plated brass contacts.
The Molex KK 254 6-way wire-to-board header is a robust, right-angle connector designed for reliable signal transmission in a wide array of electronic applications. Part of the trusted KK 254 connector system, it features a 2.54mm centreline pitch and is engineered to deliver up to 5A and 250V per circuit, ensuring dependable performance for power and signal needs.
Constructed from high-temperature PA polyamide nylon, the connector housing offers excellent durability and thermal resistance. The contacts are made from brass with a matte tin (Sn) plating, providing reliable conductivity and good solderability. Its design incorporates several key features for secure mating, including dual-cantilever terminals for a stable electrical connection, polarising header backwalls and ribs on the corresponding receptacles to prevent misalignment, and a friction-lock mechanism between headers and receptacles to ensure a secure physical fit.
This single-row, unshrouded pin header uses a through-hole, right-angle termination, making it ideal for board-to-board and wire-to-board applications where space-saving perpendicular connections are required. The KK RPC series is specifically offered with these high-temperature materials and plating to suit demanding environments.
