Molex 85505 RJ45 Cat5e Shielded Modular Jack, Right Angle, THT
Molex 85505 RJ45 Cat5e shielded modular jack, 8P8C, right angle, THT. Gold-plated contacts. Ideal for PCB.
The Molex 85505 modular jack is a high-performance connector designed for reliable Ethernet and telecommunications applications. Featuring a Cat5e rating, this shielded jack ensures excellent signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for networking environments where performance and reliability are essential.
This right-angle jack comes with 8 positions and 8 contacts (8P8C) configuration, supporting standard RJ45 connectivity. The through-hole mounting (THT) provides a robust mechanical connection to the PCB, while gold-plated contacts ensure superior conductivity and long-term durability. The phosphor bronze contact material offers excellent spring properties and resistance to wear.
Designed as a compact, single-port module, the 85505 series jack is ideal for high-density applications where space is at a premium. The right-angle orientation allows for low-profile PCB designs, and the shielded construction helps protect against external noise.
