The Energenie MiHome Double-Pole In-Line Controller 3kW is a surface mountable smart controller rated for loads up to 3kW, designed to manage a wide range of electrical loads from heating systems to DC devices.

Overview

The MiHome In-Line Controller can be operated through the MiHome app on a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Users can set custom timers, create automation programmes, establish rules, and use geo-fencing for location-based operation. To enable smart functionality, the controller requires a MiHome gateway, which is sold separately and forms the bridge between the device and the home network.

Safety Design

The controller features relay switches on both the live and neutral connections. In the event of a neutral-earth failure, the neutral conductor is isolated. The double-pole switching design also helps prevent issues arising from live and neutral reversal.

Applications

The in-line controller is suitable for dry underfloor heating systems, panel heaters, and heated towel rails. It can also manage DC devices operating down to 30V.

Installation
