Metabo 19 piece HSS-G drill bit set, 1.0 to 10.0 mm in 0.5 mm steps. DIN 338 type N, 135° point, supplied in a plastic carry case.
The Metabo HSS-G Drill Bit Set 19 Piece is a set of 19 high-speed steel drill bits supplied in a plastic carry case, suited to metalworking and general drilling tasks.
Overview
Each drill bit is manufactured to the DIN 338 standard, type N, and features a 135° point angle with crosswise grinding. This geometry provides aggressive cutting, reduced bit walking and a significant decrease in the axial force required, which results in faster, more precise holes and extended tool life. The set is designed for a broad range of materials, including standard, cast and alloyed steels, grey, malleable and ductile cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, graphite, non-ferrous metals such as brass and aluminium, and many types of plastic. The bits can handle materials with a tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm².
