Master Lock 498A Latch Tight™ Portable Red Group Lock Box
Master Lock 498A Latch Tight™ Red Group Lock Box. Secures equipment for up to 12 workers. Powder-coated steel with multilingual lockout message.
The Master Lock No. 498A Latch Tight™ Portable Red Group Lock Box provides a reliable solution for securing equipment during group lockout procedures. By capturing the keys from individual lockout points inside the box, a single designated lock can secure the entire piece of equipment, streamlining the safety process.
This group lock box operates on a simple yet highly effective principle: each authorised employee attaches their own personal safety lock to the box. The exclusive Latch Tight™ feature guarantees that the keys inside cannot be accessed until the very last personal lock is removed, ensuring maximum safety for all personnel involved.
Design and Capacity
Built for demanding industrial environments, the lock box features a robust powder-coated steel construction with a highly visible red finish. It is designed with an easy-to-grip, ergonomic handle for convenient portability. The box comfortably accommodates up to 12 workers simultaneously, with the capacity to expand using additional lockout hasps. A prominent lockout message displayed in English, Spanish, and French clearly communicates safety protocols to a diverse workforce.
