Loctite 603 Retaining Compound Red 10ml
Loctite 603 high-strength retaining compound (10ml). Ideal for cylindrical parts & sintered bearings with high oil tolerance.
The Loctite 603 Retaining Compound is a high-strength retaining compound designed specifically for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts. It is particularly effective for sintered bearings and in applications where consistently clean surfaces cannot be assured.
This advanced formula cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, creating a robust bond that prevents loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. One of the standout features of this compound is its high oil tolerance, making it ideal for use on cylindrical fitting parts where thorough degreasing is not possible.
Approved for use on bearings and holding WRC Approval (BS 6920): 0910511, this red retaining compound offers reliable performance across a service temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With a fixture time on steel of just 8 minutes and a tensile shear strength of 22.5 N/mm², it ensures quick and durable assembly. Supplied in a convenient 10ml bottle, it is perfectly suited for both automotive and industrial applications.
