Loctite 222 Low Strength Threadlocker 50ml
Loctite 222 low strength threadlocker (50ml). Ideal for adjusting fasteners & non-ferrous metals like brass. Thixotropic, purple formula.
The Loctite 222 Low Strength Threadlocker (50ml) is a specialised adhesive designed to replace nylon patches, star washers, and spring washers on screws and other threaded fittings. This threadlocking grade is specifically formulated for applications where easy dismantling is required, such as with a standard screwdriver.
Featuring a lower strength formulation, this threadlocker is ideal for fasteners that require subsequent adjustment. Its distinctive purple colour aids in easy identification, while the thixotropic nature of the adhesive prevents it from migrating from the point of application, ensuring precision. Additionally, it lubricates threads during assembly for a smoother installation process.
This product is particularly suited for use on non-ferrous components, such as brass and aluminium, and allows for the easy removal of components when maintenance or adjustment is necessary.
