LDO Voltage Regulator Adjustable 50mA SOT-23-5
Texas Instruments adjustable LDO regulator, 2.5V-16V input, 1.23V-15V output, 120mV dropout, SOT-23-5.
The LDO Voltage Regulator, Adjustable from Texas Instruments is a micropower, ultra-low dropout regulator designed to deliver exceptional performance in battery-powered applications. This adjustable regulator provides a stable output voltage between 1.23V and 15V, with an input voltage range of 2.5V to 16V, making it versatile for a wide variety of low-power electronic circuits.
Engineered with an optimized vertically integrated PNP (VIP) process, this regulator achieves an ultra-low dropout voltage of just 120mV, ensuring efficient operation even when the input voltage is close to the output voltage. The device features an extremely low quiescent current of under 1µA in shutdown mode, which significantly extends battery life in portable devices. With a typical high peak current capability of 150mA, it can handle transient loads effectively, while the low ground pin current at all load currents helps maintain efficiency across the entire operating range.
Built-in over-temperature and over-current protection safeguard the regulator and connected components from damage, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments. The device requires only a few external components, simplifying design and reducing board space. It is a green product, free from antimony and bromine, and is available in a compact SOT-23-5 surface-mount package for space-constrained applications.
