The Knipex 98 Series VDE Stripping Knife is a professional-grade tool designed for electrical work, featuring VDE certification for safety up to 10,000V and approved for use at voltages up to 1,000V. It conforms to the rigorous DIN EN / IEC 60900 standard for insulated hand tools.

Its ergonomic handle provides a secure grip with slip-proof soft components, while the thumb recess and 'finger hook' at the handle's end ensure precise control and force transmission during blade operation. The knife is ideal for pulling and stripping without damaging conductor insulation.

The surgical stainless steel blade is vacuum-hardened for durability and features a sickle shape with a guide shoe at the tip to protect wire insulation during cutting. For added safety, the knife includes a transparent protective cap when not in use.
