KLEIN TOOLS VDE Insulated 3mm Hex Screwdriver 175mm
VDE insulated 3mm hex screwdriver, 1000V rated. Ergonomic grip & anti-roll design for safe electrical work on isolators & circuit breakers.
The KLEIN TOOLS VDE Insulated 3mm Hex Screwdriver is engineered for professional electricians requiring safe, reliable tools for live working. Featuring a VDE-certified shaft, it provides a critical safety barrier when working on or near energised components, with clear 1,000-volt rating markings for instant verification.
Ergonomically designed handles offer an extra-firm, fatigue-free grip, allowing for greater torque application and comfort during prolonged use. The slimmer 3mm hex tip is specifically shaped for easy access to circuit breakers, terminal screws, and other confined spaces within electrical enclosures. A practical anti-roll design prevents the tool from rolling away, reducing the risk of loss on busy worksites.
Safety & Certification
This screwdriver meets or exceeds the stringent IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 standards for insulated hand tools. Its durable, moulded insulation is rigorously tested, with each individual tool subjected to a 10,000-volt dielectric strength test to ensure absolute safety for working with systems up to 1,000 volts. This makes it ideally suited for the safe installation and termination of double-pole isolators, particularly those situated between a smart meter and a consumer unit.
