KAUDEN PoE Tester
Compact KAUDEN PoE tester detects IEEE 802.3af/at/bt & 24V standards. Self-powered tool for installers & IT professionals.
The KAUDEN PoE Tester is a new generation, easy-to-use detection adaptor designed to quickly and reliably identify Power over Ethernet (PoE) on network installations. It is an essential tool for network installers, system integrators, and IT managers, providing instant verification of active PoE power and standards, ensuring compatibility and preventing equipment damage.
This compact tester is engineered to detect the presence of IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE, PoE+, and PoE++) standards, as well as legacy 24V passive PoE. It intelligently identifies the type of Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and verifies voltage output across different modes: 48V via Mode A or Mode B, and 24V via Mode C. This precise detection helps confirm cable integrity and power delivery before connecting sensitive devices.
Key Features
- Comprehensive Standard Detection: Verifies IEEE 802.3af/at/bt and 24V passive PoE.
- Voltage & Mode Identification: Detects 48V output via Mode A (pins 4,5,7,8) and Mode B (pins 1,2,3,6), and 24V output via Mode C (pins 4,5,7,8).
- Self-Powered Operation: Requires no batteries, drawing minimal power directly from the line voltage being tested.
- High-Speed Port Compatibility: Works seamlessly with 10Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1Gbps network ports.
- Clear LED Display: Provides immediate visual feedback on PoE status and detected standards.
Ideal for troubleshooting, pre-installation checks, and maintenance tasks in corporate IT environments, data centres, and even advanced home networks. Its pocket-sized design makes it a convenient and indispensable tool for any professional's kit.
