EUROPA TR2-D Thermal Overload Relay 17-25A
EUROPA TR2-D thermal overload relay for 17-25A motors. IEC/VDE/BS approved with phase failure protection. Compact, 43x33x15mm.
The EUROPA TR2-D Thermal Overload Relay is a vital component for protecting AC motors from damage caused by overloads and phase failure. Engineered to exacting European standards, it ensures reliable operation and enhanced safety in a wide range of industrial applications. Featuring an adjustable current setting range of 17 to 25 amps, it offers precise protection tailored to your specific motor requirements.
This relay is built for durability and compliance, meeting key international approvals including IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-4-1, NFC 63-650, VDE 0660, and BS 4941. Its robust design includes a tripping class of 10, making it suitable for motors with high inertia starts. The unit offers excellent electrical protection with an insulation voltage of 690V and an operating voltage of 600V, supporting frequencies up to 400Hz.
Key Safety & Protection Features:
- Phase Failure Sensitivity: Automatically trips if the current exceeds 25% above the rated current (In) during a phase failure, preventing motor burnout.
- High Dielectric Strength: Tested to 6kV at 50Hz (IEC 255-5) for superior insulation integrity.
- Impulse Withstand: Protects against voltage surges, rated at 6kV impulse withstand voltage (IEC 801-5).
- Touch Protection: Designed with IP2x protection (VDE 0106) against finger contact, enhancing operator safety during installation and maintenance.
Compact and precisely engineered, the TR2-D relay is an essential choice for control panel builders, maintenance engineers, and OEMs seeking reliable, standards-compliant motor protection.
