Duratool Steel Captive 'U' Nuts M4 Thread 100 Pack

Duratool Steel Captive 'U' Nuts provide an M4 threaded fixing in steel for joining two or more panels securely. These captive U nuts, also known as 'U' screw clips, offer a reusable internal threaded point within sheet metal assemblies where a traditional nut and bolt may be difficult to access.

Overview

The clips feature a generous lead-in design that allows quick and easy alignment during assembly, helping to speed up the installation process. They are designed for use with self-tapping screws, providing a fast fixing that is intended to resist vibration and loosening over time. The pack contains 100 captive U nuts.

Applications

These U nuts can be used across a range of industrial and domestic applications, including the assembly and repair of motor vehicle body panels and interior trim. They are also suited to securing panels on domestic appliances, electrical enclosures, control boxes, and various types of machinery and equipment. The design allows for either edge mounting or centre mounting, offering flexibility for different panel configurations.
