The Duratool PoE Network Cable Tester is a versatile, multi-function device designed to streamline your network diagnostics. It integrates multiple types of cable testing with Power over Ethernet (PoE) analysis, making it an essential tool for any IT professional or installer.
This tester effectively checks for open circuits and cross circuits, while also verifying that RJ45, RJ11, and RJ12 connectors are in full working order. Beyond standard continuity testing, it can determine whether a network cable is powered and carrying data, adding a valuable layer of diagnostic capability.
For PoE networks, the device identifies the type of power sourcing equipment (PSE), distinguishing between end-span and mid-span devices. It is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at PoE standards, ensuring broad compatibility with modern network setups.
Featuring clear LED result indications and a flashing low battery alert, operation is straightforward and user-friendly. The tester boasts a maximum test distance of 2km and is supplied ready to use with a 9V PP3 battery. Suitable for a wide range of applications, it is widely used in both commercial and domestic environments to ensure network reliability and performance.
