Duratool 160mm Fibre Optic Stripper
Professional 160mm fibre optic stripper with 3 precision jaws for jacket, fibre & buffer. Ideal for telecoms & network installation.
The Duratool 160mm Fibre Optic Stripper is a professional-grade precision hand tool engineered for the accurate, damage-free preparation of fibre optic cables. Essential for telecoms, data communications, and network installation work, it ensures clean and reliable stripping without compromising the delicate internal fibres.
This tool features three dedicated, precision-ground cutting jaws, each designed for a specific layer: one for stripping the tough outer jacket, another for the 250µm fibre, and a third for the sensitive 125µm buffer coating. This multi-stage capability allows for complete cable preparation in a single, controlled operation, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.
For maximum versatility, an integrated adjustment screw enables fine-tuning of the jaws to accommodate special or non-standard fibre optic cable gauges, ensuring a perfect fit and clean strip every time. The tool is built for comfort and safety during prolonged use, featuring high-visibility yellow and black handles that make the tool easy to locate in cluttered work areas. The ergonomic comfort grip significantly reduces hand fatigue during repetitive fibre preparation tasks, enhancing productivity on both workshop benches and demanding site environments.
A practical integrated handle lock securely keeps the tool closed when not in use, allowing for safe storage and transport in a tool kit without risk of the jaws accidentally opening. The compact 160mm length provides an excellent balance of control and precision, making it ideal for detailed fibre optic work where accuracy is paramount.
