DFROBOT 32x16 RGB LED Matrix Panel, 192mm x 96mm
512 RGB LED matrix panel for Arduino. 32x16 display, 5VDC, bright & wide-angle. Perfect for displays, art & prototypes.
The DFROBOT 32x16 RGB LED Matrix Panel is a high-resolution, full-colour display module ideal for creating dynamic visual projects. This panel features an impressive 512 individually addressable RGB LEDs arranged in a 32x16 grid, allowing for detailed graphics, animations, and text display with complete colour control.
Designed for easy integration, the panel operates on a 5VDC supply and utilises a 1/8 scan rate drive mode with synchronous control for efficient performance. Its high refresh rate (≥300Hz) ensures smooth, flicker-free visuals, while the wide viewing angle (≥160°) guarantees excellent visibility from various positions. With a white balance brightness of ≥1200cd/㎡, it delivers vibrant and clear imagery even in well-lit environments.
Key Specifications & Features
- High Resolution: 32 columns by 16 rows of RGB LEDs (512 total pixels).
- Individually Addressable: Each LED can be controlled independently for complex graphics.
- Wide Viewing Angle: ≥160° for clear visibility from the side.
- High Refresh Rate: ≥300Hz for smooth, flicker-free animation.
- Bright Output: White balance brightness ≥1200cd/㎡.
- Reliable: Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) ≥5000 hours.
- Compact Dimensions: Panel measures 192mm x 96mm.
The kit includes all necessary cables for connection: a 32x16 RGB LED matrix panel (6mm pitch), an IDC to XH2.54 cable, an IDC to IDC cable, and a power supply cable. This makes it ready to connect to compatible controllers like the Arduino UNO R3 board, requiring at least 13 digital GPIO pins for operation.
Perfect for makers, educators, and developers, this panel is suitable for building information displays, interactive art installations, gaming accessories, or any project requiring a bright, programmable LED matrix.
