Challenge Galvanised Clout Nails for Plasterboard, 40mm, 225g Pack
225g pack of 40mm galvanised steel clout nails. Perfect for fastening plasterboard to timber studs securely and efficiently.
The Challenge Galvanised Clout Nails are the ideal fastening solution for securing plasterboard sheets. This 225g pack offers a substantial quantity of high-quality 40mm nails, providing a quick and efficient way to fasten plasterboard to timber studs, joists, or battens.
Manufactured from durable steel, each nail is finished with a galvanised coating. This zinc layer provides a protective barrier, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and rust. This makes the nails suitable for use in a variety of internal environments, including areas with potential moisture exposure, ensuring a long-lasting and secure hold.
The 1 ½ inch (40mm) length and 2.65mm diameter provide the perfect balance between penetration and holding power. The clout nail design features a large, flat head that sits flush against the plasterboard surface without tearing through the paper face, creating a neat finish that is ready for filling and skimming.
These nails are designed for speed and ease of use. They can be driven quickly with a hammer or, more efficiently, using a specialised clout nail gun for larger projects, significantly reducing installation time. Their robust construction ensures they hold firmly without bending or shearing under pressure.
Supplied in a practical 225g pack, these galvanised clout nails are an essential component for any drylining, partitioning, or renovation project where reliable and corrosion-resistant fixings are required.
