Brainboxes Pure Embedded Industrial 5-Port Fast Ethernet Switch
Ultra-compact Brainboxes 5-port industrial Ethernet switch. PCB mount, wide temperature range. Ideal for space-limited systems.
The Brainboxes Pure Embedded Industrial 5-Port Fast Ethernet Switch is an ultra-compact networking solution, significantly smaller than a standard business card. Designed as a pure distillation of functionality, it is the ideal choice for any future-proof system where available space is strictly limited. This compact embedded form factor ensures seamless integration into your existing setups.
This industrial switch features five 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) and offers seamless integration with design software, including logical placements and fixed distances. It utilises TE MicroMatch compatible headers for reliable Ethernet, Link, and power connections.
Built to withstand demanding conditions, it operates within a wide temperature range suitable for industrial environments, spanning from -40°C to +80°C. The switch supports both 3.3V and 5V DC voltage inputs, with a maximum power consumption of 1.3W at 3.3V and 2.5W at 5V. Additionally, it provides 1500V magnetic isolation between ports for enhanced safety and performance.
Practicality is at the forefront of its design; power and link LEDs are visible in all orientations and support fibre optic routing pipes. Comprehensive resources are also available to assist your project, including CAD files, PCB footprints, and schematics. Measuring just 40mm in height, 30mm in width, and 25mm in depth, and weighing a mere 40 grams, this PCB-mount switch is a highly efficient networking component for demanding applications.
