The Brainboxes Industrial 4-Port Fast Ethernet Switch is designed for rugged applications with a robust uncased design, making it ideal for in-vehicle use and various embedded environments. This switch operates across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh conditions.

Enhancing its durability, each Ethernet port is magnetically isolated to protect against electrical interference. The switch features dual redundant power input (5VDC to 30VDC) and optimises power consumption based on linked device status for efficient operation.

For seamless connectivity, the switch supports Auto MDI/MDI-X crossover on all four RJ45 ports—no software configuration required for plug-and-play use. Additionally, solder points allow custom expansions such as extra RJ45 ports, while functional earthing via mounting holes improves grounding safety.
