Overview

The hub expands a laptop or PC into a workstation with four Thunderbolt 4 ports and an additional USB-A port for connecting legacy peripherals such as external hard drives, keyboards, or printers. Its data transfer rate of up to 40 Gb/s is eight times faster than the previous USB 3.0 standard, which helps with transferring large files such as 4K video projects or extensive data backups.

Power

The hub includes a 150W mains power supply with a UK mains plug (Type G). It offers 96W Power Delivery to charge host laptops while providing 15W of downstream power to connected devices. Built-in overcurrent protection (OCP) is included to help safeguard connected equipment from electrical damage.

Compatibility and Dimensions

The hub is fully compliant with the USB4 specification and is officially Thunderbolt 4 certified. It weighs 200 g and measures 3.3 x 1.5 x 4.3 (width x depth x height).
