Audio Technica Lavalier Microphone
Professional Audio Technica lavalier mic for crisp voice & instrument recording. Includes guitar adaptor, works on battery or phantom power.
The Audio Technica Lavalier Microphone is a professional-grade clip-on microphone designed for crisp, clear, and full-bodied voice pickup. Its exceptional performance extends to use as an instrument microphone, particularly for capturing the natural sound of acoustic guitars with the included AT8444 guitar adaptor.
Engineered for reliability in demanding environments, this microphone offers excellent gain before feedback and effectively suppresses unwanted background noise, ensuring your primary audio source remains clear and isolated. It features an integral 80Hz high-pass filter with a three-position switch, allowing you to select between a flat frequency response, a low-end roll-off, or to turn the filter off entirely for maximum flexibility depending on your recording situation.
Power options are versatile, with the microphone capable of operating on either battery or phantom power, making it compatible with a wide range of audio interfaces, mixers, and portable recorders. A high-quality 1.8-metre cable is permanently attached to the microphone, terminating in a reliable 3-pin mini XLR connector for a secure connection.
Supplied as a complete kit, you receive everything needed to start recording immediately. The package includes a sturdy microphone clip, the dedicated AT8444 instrument adaptor, a power module, a protective wind shield, a battery for immediate use, and a convenient carry case for storage and transport.
With its cardioid directivity, the mic effectively picks up sound from the front while rejecting noise from the sides and rear. This makes it an ideal choice for presentations, interviews, broadcasting, theatre, film production, and high-quality musical instrument recording, providing studio-quality audio in a compact and portable format.
