Akasa M.2 SSD Thermal Pad, 1x20x70mm

The Akasa M.2 SSD Thermal Pad is a ceramic-filled silicone pad designed to enhance heat dissipation from components such as M.2 SSDs. It is specifically sized to fit 2280 SSD drives, but can be easily trimmed to accommodate other sizes if necessary. This pad moulds around uneven surfaces on your hardware to ensure maximum contact area, which is crucial for optimal thermal transfer and cooler component operation.

Constructed from a thermally conductive silicone elastomer, the pad has a high temperature tolerance ranging from -40°C to 160°C. This makes it suitable for a wide variety of computing environments and high-performance applications where stable temperatures are essential for system reliability and longevity.

Key Features

• Optimised for SSDs: Pre-cut to the perfect dimensions for a standard 2280 SSD, saving time and effort during installation.
• Excellent Conformability: The soft pad material conforms to surface imperfections, eliminating air gaps and maximising heat transfer efficiency.
• High Thermal Conductivity: Offers a thermal conductivity of 1.2W/mK, effectively drawing heat away from sensitive components.
• Versatile Application: Can be cut to size for use with other components and heatsinks beyond M.2 SSDs.
• Reliable Electrical Insulation: Features high volume resistivity, making it electrically insulating to prevent short circuits.

This pad is an essential upgrade for anyone looking to improve the thermal management of their PC build, particularly for high-speed NVMe drives that can generate significant heat under load.
